Ffestiniog Travel has launched its 2022 holiday programme with a new low deposit incentive. Until 30 June 2021, a deposit of £50 per person will secure a place on any of their exclusive one-departure or multiple departure tours.
This includes Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways – Behind the Scenes, Mallorca Narrow Gauge, Switzerland’s Lake Lucerne and Narrow Gauge Eastern Germany.
The 2022 portfolio consists of an initial 23 escorted group tours, a collection of rail-based holidays to 19 countries worldwide and new tour trains and trams of Italy. Many of the European tour destinations offer a no-fly holiday option for those concerned about their carbon footprint.
The collection of 23 escorted group tours include five Small & Traditional Tours, with an average of only 12 travellers. Compared to other operators offering small group touring, Ffestiniog Travel’s reduced capacity tours may have as much as 50% fewer people on each tour.
These tours are carefully designed to offer an authentic experience, without disrupting the local culture and environment and offering customers who prefer a more intimate experience, a truly ‘small group’ holiday.
For the traveller who wants to explore the world by rail and wants a good mix of culture, leisure, convivial company and comfortable accommodation during the journey, the 9 Grand Tours are Ffestiniog Travel’s most popular holidays.
There are also 9 Connoisseur Tours that appeal to travellers who enjoy a more in-depth ‘rail’ experience. This includes a greater number of rail journeys, specifically on heritage railways, visits to rail museums and ‘behind the scenes’ access not normally available to the average passenger.
All tours are bookable via the website or by calling and speaking to one of the rail experts and Ffestiniog Travel has a full refund policy for any tour cancelled due to COVID-19.
